ÖNÉLETRAJZ

Tisztelt Érdeklődő!

1978-ban születtem Esztergomban. 1996-ban érettségiztem a Dobó Katalin Gimnáziumban, majd ebben az évben kezdtem tanulmányaimat a Semmelweis Egyetem Orvosi Karán. 2002-ben szereztem orvosi diplomát „Summa Cum Laude” minősítéssel. 2002 ősze óta dolgozom az Országos Klinikai Idegtudományi Intézetben (OKITI), 2009-óta vagyok idegsebész szakorvos.  2006-ban 1.5 évig tanultam a Dublinban a Beaumont Hospitalban, 2014 -ben pályázat útján nyílt lehetőségem csatlakozni az akkor frissen megnyitott regionális gyermekidegsebészeti központhoz Bristolban, itt 2,5 évet töltöttem gyermekidegsebészeti továbbképzéssel, majd egy speciális epilepszia-sebészeti képzést követően 2016-ban konzultánsi pozícióba hívtak meg Cambridge-be.

2017-óta vagyok ismét az OKITI-ben, ahol hazatérésemet követően osztályvezetői megbízást is kaptam.

Szakmai és tudományos érdeklődési körömbe az agyvíz keringési zavarok, fejlődési rendellenességek, agydaganatok, porckorongsérv, gerincsérv, és egyéb gerincbetegségek kezelési lehetőségei tartoznak.

Vestibular Stress, Vestibulo-hypothalamic interconnections

Techniques used:
Viral and other tract tracing methods, stereotactic injections
Vestibular stimulation animal models, Fluorescent immonohistochemistry.

Results:

  1. Vestibular stimulation induces c-fos production in the medial Hypothalamus (mainly in the Paraventricular nucleus).
  2. The Paraventricular nucleus has bi-directional, polysynaptic connection with the medial vestibular nucleus.

afrikai misszió

„Az ember ezek után máshogy néz a saját életére” – egy fiatal idegsebész kalandjai Afrikában

Egy fiatal idegsebész úgy döntött, kollégáival együtt Malawiba utazik, hogy egy misszió keretében segítse azokat, akiknek egyébként semmi esélyük nem lenne orvosi kezeléshez jutni. A 18 milliós országban egyetlen egy idegsebésznek kell helyt állnia a műtőben. A szakorvosjelölttel Zimre Zsuzsa beszélgetett.

Orvosaink Malawiban gyógyítottak

Négy-öt hónapos szervezés után 4 sebész és 1 altatóorvos nekivágott Dél-Kelet Afrikának, beteljesíteni egy missziót, és az álmukat.

Két hétig más világ – magyar idegsebészek indultak műteni Malawiba

Ma elindult Afrikába a Magyar Afrika Társaság (AHU) 17. orvosmissziója. A célállomás Malawi, azon belül is a második legnagyobb város, Blantyre, lent, az ország déli részén.
